As a pre-event for the upcoming UN Kids Summit scheduled for fall 2025, we held a special workshop in Rome, Italy from March 22 to 26.

The workshop featured a diverse lineup of guest instructors, including entrepreneurs, artists, and certified tax accountants, who delivered unique lectures tailored for children. One of the keynote speakers, internationally active entrepreneur Ryo Okubo—who works on global projects primarily in the financial sector—gave a talk titled “Three Keys to Realizing Your Dreams on the Global Stage,” sharing tips on how to learn new languages and speak confidently in public.

Children also took the lead as presenters, choosing their own topics and teaching their peers. Activities ranged from board game creation to movement-based lessons, offering a dynamic and hands-on experience that nurtured their creativity and initiative.

Participants expressed their excitement and inspiration, saying:
“I was able to expand my potential by hearing from people in different fields,”
and
“I realized that I, too, can be someone who teaches and shares knowledge with others.”
It was a truly meaningful workshop that exposed children to international perspectives, cross-disciplinary learning, and new forms of self-expression.
