We visited Kobe Lanka Preschool, located in central Sri Lanka about two and a half hours by car from the capital city of Colombo, and conducted a vocational training workshop for local women.
In this workshop, participants learned how to create decorative accessories using resin. The aim was to provide mothers—many of whom are raising children—with the skills to generate income from home. Alongside technical training, we are working to build a sustainable framework to support their continued efforts.
Local participants shared their appreciation, saying things like:

“I feel like I’ve discovered new possibilities within myself,”
“This might be the beginning of real change in my life.”
