We participated in the International Youth Conference held at the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where we presented the activities of the Hikari Project.
This conference serves as a valuable platform for the next generation of leaders to engage in dialogue on global issues. Twelve-year-old Rea, a young social activist representing the Hikari Project, also took part and collaborated on a group art piece centered around the theme of the environment.
Given the recent wildfires in Los Angeles, we also introduced our film project aimed at supporting recovery from the Noto Peninsula earthquake. The initiative, which blends traditional Japanese craftsmanship with cutting-edge technologies such as AI to build a new model for sustainable funding, drew significant attention.
Engaging discussions were held with local students and members of international organizations, making this a meaningful opportunity to lay the foundation for future global expansion.
